It's not the heat...

Well...Actually, it is the heat. And the humidity. And the fact that our a/c broke sometime last night. It looks like the motor on the fan died. Ugh.

I don't mind being hot at home. The heat and humidity doesn't really bother me so much, but I sit in an air-conditioned office all day. The boyfriend, however, works from home and has to deal with it all day. Hopefully, they'll be able to fix it soon. I predict they don't come out until next week.

Mostly Cloudy

Typical DC summer. Hazy, hot and humid.

On a much cooler note, Q And Not U is playing at Fort Reno tonight. It's one of your last chances to see them. Don't miss it.

Make yourself several nice rum and cokes with lots of ice and you'll forget about the heat.
I can't feel too sorry for you as it was 116˚ the past two days in Phoenix!!!
Yeah, but that's a dry heat. :-) It's been in the mid-90's with humidity pushing the heat index up to about 100 here. It's like standing in a steamroom. Still, I'll give you 116 - that's hell-hot.
