Dumbek's Random Stuff

Damn. John Peel died last night of a heart attack. One of the few people in the history of popular radio that actually deserved any respect. Looks like I'll be pulling out my Undertones cd tomorrow, so I can hear "Teenage Kicks". I don't quite share John's opinion that it's the greatest song ever made, but it's a damn near perfect pop song. There's a nice little tribute to John on The Undertones website.

Speaking of The Undertones, one of my college roommates looked exactly like the guy on the left in this picture. Even he agrees it's an uncanny likeness.
