Dumbek's Random Stuff

Saw "Burn To Shine" last night at The Warehouse. Nice movie. Go see it if you get a chance. Nice performances by Q And Not U, Ted Leo, The Evens, Weird War, Garland of Hours, French Toast and a couple of others. Brendan Canty was there to talk about the movie a little and how it was made. They've done a similar project in Chicago, featuring Wilco and Tortoise among others. I should have stuck around afterwards and asked Brendan if it was ever going to be available to purchase. I think he implied that it would be, but I'm not sure. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Speaking of Q And Not U, they have a new record out. Go buy it.
